One component, pre-catalysed, polyurethane injection system ideally suitable for ground improvement with water ingress; permeation grouting in ultra fine cavities; water-stopping in rock. Crack injection/water leaks in concrete and masonry structures. Reaction with water yields a durable semi-flexible closed cell polyurethane foam. To be injected with a one-component pump.
HOW DOES QUICK FIX WORK.
Reaction with water yields a durable semi-flexible polyurethane foam. The formation of CO2 makes the resin penetrate very well into the fine cavities and cracks. QUICK FI_X is a pre-catalysed system. In case it is necessary to increase the reaction speed, 5% to 10% QUICK FIX CAT can be added to obtain the desired reaction speed. A good compression strength is obtained in a very short time. Free expansion: +3000%.
The reaction speed can be accelerated by adding 5% to 10% QUICK FIX CAT. Make sure to mix the resin and catalyst very well. QUICK FIX is very hygroscopic and packed under dry atmosphere. Use opened containers as soon as possible or recap under dry nitrogen. Pumps should be cleaned with MEK, Acetone, or any solvent cleaning agent for cleaning of polyurethane injection pumps.
Application
- Leak sealing in foundation and permanent
- Leak sealing for deep tunnels and shaft excavation.
- Leak sealing in sewers and water retaining structures.
- Ground improvement and permeation grouting.
- Cavity filling and fissure grouting.
