One component, non-phthalate, non-solvent, VOC free, low viscous polyurethane injection system ideally suitable for sealing water ingress in dynamic cracks and joints. Reaction with water yields a durable flexible closed cell polyurethane foam. To be injected with a one-component pump.

HOW DOES FLEX WORK

FLEX is the next generation chemical system for concrete structures. with dynamic movements. Reaction with water yields a durable flexible polyurethane foam. The formation of CO2 makes the resin penetrate very well into the fine cavities and cracks. Free expansion: +2000%.

The reaction speed can be accelerated by adding 2% to 10% 1C CAT. Make sure to mix the resin and catalyst very well. 1C CAT is ADR free.

FLEX is very hygroscopic and packed under dry atmosphere. Use opened containers as soon as possible or recap under dry nitrogen. Pumps should be cleaned with MEK, Acetone, or any solvent cleaning agent for cleaning of polyurethane injection pumps.

Application

  • Leak sealing in foundation and permanent structures.
  • Leak sealing for deep tunnels and shaft excavation.
  • Leak sealing in sewers and water retaining structures.

STORAGE

To avoid problems, it is very important to understand that these materials are both temperature and moisture sensitive. Therefore, materials should be stored in an area with temperatures not exceeding 30°C or not lower than l0°C. Shelf life is one year. Avoid partly used drums.
